FIRE HEATER

Quality inspection of a fire heater is essential to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. The inspection covers major components such as the heater casing, tubes, radiant, convection, and structural supports. Key activities include checking material identification, dimensions, welding quality, tube alignment, refractory condition, and surface coating. NDT methods such as UT, MT, PT, and RT may be applied to verify the integrity of welds and pressure-containing components. All inspection results should be properly documented, and any nonconformities must be corrected before final inspection and commissioning.
